It Takes A Village

Having been a teacher and principal, I’m acutely aware of the pressures and increasing demands facing New Zealand teachers. It can be difficult to find the extra time needed for every child to reach their full potential, or to support children with unique learning needs.

My style is to work closely with teachers to share assessment information and progress along with any learning strategies that are proving especially effective with a child. Transferring the learning gained at Literacy Collective back into the classroom is my primary goal.

You know your students well so it is helpful for me to know what is working and what is not in the classroom and how best I can support the work you are doing.
